 Community Hub

Spetchells Centre is a busy community hub on Front Street at the heart of the town. It houses the library, the local police, the benefits service, the food bank, the town council and much more.

Lots of groups in Spetchells Centre  such as the Community Crafters, Patchwork, U3A and a book group. Rooms for meetings are available for hire with all facilities.

During the current Coronavirus crisis, Spetchells Centre is only open to the public by prior appointment to visit one of the groups based there. The Library is closed until the crisis is over.

Spetchells Centre is run by Gail Jewitt and Julie Smith, who are monitoring the building  but usually working from home during the crisis. Contact Gail  on spetchells@prudhoe.org or 07595 263648

Working together to make Prudhoe a great place to live and work.
