Wanted to Help Drive Positive Change in Prudhoe
Prudhoe Community Partnership is delighted to announce a new opportunity for someone passionate about community work to join our team as a Community Development Coordinator.
This brand-new part-time role (10 hours per week) will be at the heart of supporting and strengthening voluntary and community action across Prudhoe. From helping to run the Prudhoe Community Hub to supporting a range of local initiatives, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused, purpose-driven environment.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated individual who understands community development, is confident working with both voluntary sector organisations and public bodies, and enjoys the challenges and rewards of working in a small, local charity. If you’re organised, proactive, and a strong communicator who’s comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Details:
- Salary: £23,656 pro rata (£130 per week)
- Hours: Part-time – 10 hours per week
- Contract: Initially two years, subject to funding
- Location: Prudhoe Community Hub, 61 Front Street, Prudhoe, NE42 5AA
- Start Date: Monday 15 September 2025
- Closing Date for Applications: Friday 18 July 2025 at 12 noon
- Interview Date: Week commencing 28 July 2025
